Peter Gössel runs an agency for museum and exhibition design. He has published TASCHEN monographs on Julius Shulman, R. Schindler, John Lautner, and Richard Neutra, as well as several titles in the Basic Architecture series. American photographer Julius Shulmanâs images of Californian architecture have burned themselves into the retina of the 20th century. A book on modern architecture without Shulman is inconceivable. This is the best book published on the subject. This book is fantastic! I purchased my house plans two days ago and Iâm kicking myself now. Though I find it very visually stimulating for not only the architecture but the interior design and landscaping. I will definitely be making use of this book often. Tremendous amounts of info of all of the Case Study Homes - detailed descriptions of each of the homes including the concepts behind the design as well as of the builds themselves if they were builtpictures, plans, images of the architectural scale models.
